Growing up in North Central Texas, I was raised by a dairy farmer and a teacher. While we lived simply and never owned the latest cars, my parents ensured we never went hungry. My foundational years in a small three-room schoolhouse instilled a deep respect for education and hard work, ultimately driving me to earn my degree from Hill College in Hillsboro.
Having lived in Clinton for a decade, my family and I reside here by choice. Despite the freedom to live anywhere in America, we chose this community because we truly love it. I witnessed the Hwy 65 expansion and recognize that future development will bring both opportunities and hurdles. This expansion must be navigated with careful foresight and discipline to benefit all Clinton citizens.
